Jean is in the backroom today, via that mighty link at the bottom. Jean Atkin is a poet with great connections to Dumfries and Galloway. She was the only thin poet in the mighty Roncadora Stable  but now lives in Shropshire. She was BBC National Poetry Day poet for Shropshire and has been hugely active there, writing, organising and workshopping. She organises the highly successful Poetry Lounge in Ludlow. Her latest collection is 'How Time is in Fields'  (Indigo Dream Publishing)
